Ethanol Fuel:
Epiphergy can produce several grades of ethanol depending on customer requirements and market conditions.
- "Wet" Ethanol: 180-190 Proof (90-95% ABV)
- "Dry" Ethanol: 199 Proof (99.5% ABV)
- ASTM E-98: ASTM D4806 98% Ethanol, 2% Gasoline
- ASTM E-85: ASTM D5798 85% Ethanol, 15% Gasoline
- EpipherGEN Feedstock: 40-48 Proof (20-24% ABV)
Ethanol fuel is sold to local fuel blenders and distributors as a bulk fuel commodity, or it is transported in bulk to markets where advanced, low-carbon biofuels command premium prices.
Epiphergy's ethanol fuel is an advanced, ultra-low carbon biofuel. This is because Epiphergy's unique produces is extremely efficient, and because we use waste instead of corn, sugar cane, switchgrass, or other energy crops. Epiphergy's ethanol fuel products (including feedstock) qualify as Advanced Biofuels under the current US EPA Renewable Fuel Standard.
EpipherGEN Feedstock is a waste-derived, advanced biofuel feedstock for ethanol fuel production. EpipherGEN Feedstock is a pre-fermented, distillation-ready liquid that can be introduced just upstream of the beer column. Available to registered ethanol fuel producers as a high-solids slurry, or as a low-solids liquid, depending on application(s).
