Compost:
Residual solid materials are composted at the end of Epiphergy's process to produce an organic soil conditioner/fertilizer that is used to help support urban agriculture.
Our composting process is rapid and odor-free because our process has already converted most of the material into ethanol fuel and animal feed.
Unlike other biofuel producers, Epiphergy DOES NOT burn our left-over organic solids to produce steam and electricity for our process. We believe that organic matter should be returned to the soil instead of being burned for process energy, and we designed our process and business model to accomodate this goal.
