Epiphergy partners with community stakeholders to help create and retain jobs in the food and beverage industry by providing sustainable, low-cost organic waste upcycling services. We also work with our customers and local food banks to ensure than any edible products are donated to help those in need. Finally, Epiphergy works with numerous non-profit institutions to help educate and inform the public about the benefits of upcycling and the economic and environmental damaged caused by the waste-mismanagement practices commonly utilized today.
Communities benefit from reduced loading on traditional landfill and wastewater treatment facilities. Organic waste makes up more than 50% of municipal solid waste and it is one of the major source of fugitive methane emissions from landfills.
